Jim has over four decades of experience in the crane industry. Jim’s ability to build high-performance workplace cultures from within has fueled positive results for his customer base, team, and the company itself. The processes and protocols that Jim developed has allowed him to be well known as the “Best in Class” with his all hands-on-deck, team unity approach to creating a positive, and productive work environment. Jim is held in high regard by his industry peers and his contributions to the field date back to 1988, when he was inducted as National Director of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). Jim went on to be elected President of ABC Gold Coast Chapter, and thereafter, ABC Florida State President. Jim’s industry accomplishments don’t end there. He was a founding Chair of the Florida Crane Owners Council (FCOC), and he served as President of the Construction Association of South Florida (CASF). Additionally, and among his many recognitions, Jim was honored by the Black Republican Caucus of Florida and received the Jennifer S. Carroll Humanitarian Award.
Jim’s philanthropic side is best seen through his ongoing and active participation as Corporate Board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio. Jim was recently elected to serve on the Board of Workforce Solutions Alamo which is the leadership and governing body for the regional workforce system of the 13-County Alamo Area. Jim also serves on the Board of ABC South Texas. Jim is honored as a Lifetime Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County and is also the Vice Chair of the Alliance which represents the welfare of 280,000 boys and girls around the State of Florida. Jim pledges to continue making a difference in Texas by furthering his involvement in initiatives that impact Veterans and at-risk youth. This includes introducing the Warrior Health Foundation to Texas. WHF’s mission is to improve the quality of life and overall wellness of Special Operations veterans from the Global War on Terrorism through high-quality, free or low-cost proactive and preventative healthcare services.
